Aren't those 18x9 +35? What are your alignment specs?

Can anyone give me info on some wheels I want to get?
I have a 2013 WRX hatch (same specs as 2012) I want: XXR 527 18x9.75 +20 Not sure about tire size. I don't want meaty tires. I was thinking 235/40. Someone please tell me if I would need to roll fenders(which I don't doubt) and what suspension I should get. I was thinking bc coils. |

Not sure if I posted this here yet but here we go.
Yes I have a 2.5i but it has the same body style as you guys so I figured it might be helpful. Wheels: 17x8+35 Enkei PF01's Tires:Hankook Ventus V12 Evo's 245/45/17- got them with wheels for dirt cheap suspension: lowered on koni's/RCE yellows, not sure if it matters but I have whiteline rear shock bushings. No fender mods at all (no roll, no pull) Very very slight rubbing in the rear with full car and cornering very aggressively. |

Anybody running any 17x9 45 offset RPF1s? I've seen some FRS/BRZ guys running them successfully but with some possible BBK issues (if applicable). Curious if any WRX owners are driving on them.

Hello all- so i just got done reading this thread and last night I read the 37 pages of the Drag wheel thread and haven't seen a straight answer to this. Looking at Drag Dr-31 +38 for my 09 WRX hatch. This will be for a summer/autox setup. I would like to run 255/40s (either Star Specs or Ventus RS3s) but i'm guessing i'll rub.
Car specs: stock rear springs STI front springs (so ~0.8" drop over stock in front) Eibach adjustable F/R sways Rear strut on order The wheel/tire setup won't be ordered until spring but i'd liek to gather info in the mean time. Will 255/40 be too much tire and result in rubbing? Could also run 245 but this will be for autox so i want the tire to properly fit the wheel. I would like to have your guys opinion on what would work best. Thanks for the input! |

Since you mention autox, the big question is what class will you run in - buying new wheels might put you in a class you won't be competitive in. Honestly just find a 17x8 +45-58 with a 236 or 245, and call it good. You don't need big wheels. |

Yes sorry DR-31 in 17x9, it was getting late when I typed that. I'm thinking either 17x9 +38 with 255x40s or 17x8 +47 / +35 with 245s.
In regards to the autox, I'm run BSP against corvettes and Porsches with slicks. Looking for all the help I can get without going slicks myself. Also, in order to not get too wheels crazy (this setup will be my fourth set for the car) I'd like to get something I can drive to the event, race, and then drive home. With all that said, 255 will likely be too much tire/wheel and result in rubbing? |

It should rub with 17x9 +38's and 255/40's. Assuming no fender mods.

I find it impossible to find myself some sexy 17x9's, I'm to picky but the last ones posted are pretty straight.

Okay, I'll do some research on what's available in the 17x8 variety and 245/40. Thanks for the input!

hes probably running the same tires size front and rear which will fine (still not ideal, due to the increased stretch the diameter is probably slightly off front/rear, but probably within tolerance).
too bad his car is total failure. no suspension travel, retardedly stretched tires. tires are probably something like 205/30/18 or 225/30/18 on 9-10" wide wheels..., the sidewall and overall diameter looks tiny. |
