Damn - This is happening everywhere. I found out yesterday, that in 60 days - Entex no longer has a contract with Addison Wesley Longman, and will be leaving the facility.

If Entex can't find me something to do - I'll be out too. Gotta love technology!
I'll join you on that beer now. - Kris

Angry

Kinda gives new meaning to "Happy Holidays!" From what I heard NH's unemployment doesn't pay much compared to MA, but then again that ain't much either. Not like I would know or anything. I was on it for 1.5 months this past Feb/Mar. I was told about 2 weeks before Christmas. It sucks, but you'll get through it.

PCConnection is hiring sales people...

Boston Billards sounds like fun, let me know if you guys go. Home 603-889-3468. During work hours goto www.arch.com and page me with 781-387-9485 as the pager number.

Hey Chuck, Im starting on the 15th with a new company, Conversent Communications. I know they are hiring sales people. If you want I can check it out for ya. I dont know how relative it is to what you were doing, but in general, sales is sales. Let me know, Id be more than happy.

So yeah, I believe Wednesday is ladies night at Boston Billiards. Who's up for that? Say like 8pm?

Hey Chuck sorry to hear about you losing your job. As far as that Boston Biliards thing that sounds like a good plan. If someone could give me a call at 617-633-3602 and let me know when it will be I would like to join you guys. The only reason I ask for a call is that My computer is not where I live at the current time and I only get to use it once a week. I moved out and haven't moved the computer yet. hopefully I will hear from one of you soon. Good luck on the job search, I will let you know if I hear of anything.

Hey Fitz...
My neighbor works at Teradyne in Merrimack. Do you know Scott Mazur?

Just curious. I realize this could be one of those: "You're from Texas? Do you know my friend Ted from Texas?" things, but I figure I'd check anyway...

Hey Kris - Just in case, what area would you be looking to get into specifically? (I.E. Web design/maintenance, database design, network admin). I can keep my ears open within the IS world I know. Feel free to PM me with info.

Chuck - sorry, but I don't have any contacts in the sales world. Hopefully one of the other leads here work out. Keep that chin up.

Redbeard - you tell Mr. Mazur he is a no-good slacker, him and the rest of the Benchmark Bunch sluffing off over there at Teradyne. ;-)
