Question Is there a medical condition that causes olfactory hallucinations?

Because ever since I got to VT, I have been having brief hallucinations that I smell dog s***.

I'm thinking it might be pyschosomatic. When we first got our dog, I spent the first three days with it non-stop. Then, for the next couple days when I left the house, I would have brief moments where I thought I smelled my puppy (they have a distinct odor). Maybe I miss my dog?

I know my farts, and these are not them.

It's crack. Too much crack.

And you miss Daisy. I'd miss her too.

I always smell dog **** at work, but it turns out it's just the rotting mulch they use around the trees in the parking lot. I realized what it was when the maintenance guy was out there aerating it one morning.

Yes, olfactory hallucinations can be a manifestation of things like frontal lobe epilepsy or uncommon seizure disorders. honestly thats the first thing that popped up in my head as soon as you asked the question.

This time of year they spread manure on all the fields to get them ready for the spring.

So yes, VT does smell like **** for a few weeks.

if you, all of a sudden, start to hear a whistling noise...does that mean you miss your car?

Olfactory hallucinations are a symptom of schizophrenia.

Seriously.

That's the worst olfactory hallucination ever.

I hope if I ever get one it smells like Johns Pizzeria, or bacon, or cinammon rolls, or apple pie, something like that

Asinine is fecal phobic and an OCD clean freak. When I'm done wiping, you could eat chocolate pudding out of my ass with confidence.

But no one ever has
