Soo.... First things first...
Flag had to go up.

After getting quite a bit of rain in the car... Lots of things developed a protective coating of rust.
It kind of got me pissed off and I had to clear up the rust and paint the steering column as well as the pedal box.

Next up was time again to unreel the spools.

Driver door was completed with new power locks and power windows wiring and connectors.

Low beam, high beam, front and fender blinkers got wired up.

All neatly run inside the wheel well.

Few more wires appeared in the passenger's seat.

Trunk is not looking bad either.

It would also appear that some new crimp connectors are needed...

Sooo here we go again..

I popped in the rear driveshaft on Saturday.
The locking ring is there ... but it didnt take much pry bar to pop it out..
I'll measure the track when time comes around..

So.. since running brake lines pissed me off a bit..
Onto the wiring we go..

Battery + terminal was wired up to the main circuit breaker.
I'd figured since the Aquamist pump is right there it was much easier to just wire it up to the battery. They provided a fused relay so no need to run that to the PDM.

Here is the relay and new DTP plug for the pump.

I believe all wiring from the back has been run...
Started prepping for junctions and heat shrink.

Here it is a bit more tidy.

I decided to make the harness modular so it'd be easier for me to build it.
Things like door wiring and front lights will be joining the harness via a connector.

Front headlight/blinker wiring was taped up and ready for assembly.
On the left is driver's headlight/blinker wiring, middle is passenger's.

And here... is my first attempt at concentric twisting..
I didnt feel like fiddling around with filler wires .. but I think it looks pretty good.

Here is another view of the section.

So... more progress..

Started wrapping the harness in Raychem.

This is where few hours of work gets you...

Few more gets you the other side.

End result and front lighting is now complete.

One thing i still cant find, is the plug for the JDM sidemarker...

Thanks for your help and damn fast shipping.

Pigtail wiring was removed and new connectors crimped.

Both sidemarkers and the front lighting is now done.

... as the hours pass ..
some progress is made...

Harness is back in the car for re-fitting.
Once split locations were confirmed I started working on the tail end.
Must say.. it was a bitch to twist the rest .. as 1/2 of the harness had to be disassembled.

Here is a view of the left tail being completed.

Here is a view of the rear ground point.
Not liking the idea of pop nut but lets hope it holds.

The rear is almost ready. Just need to figure out how to run the 044 connection. Courtesy of Robert.
Since the pump takes about 14A a 12 gauge should suffice.. but was reading that some people had issues and decided to add an 2nd run of 12gauge.

On the right is the run from front harness.
Next up is rear right tail and time to hook up the PDM and merge front with the rear.

Welp . . . Starting to re-think that full custom wiring harness. Lol

Jk, I will just power through it. But this really makes me like the idea of doing the absolute minimum to be "road legal".
