Default The flat faced wheels pics thread

The more I see pics of various wheels on 2015+ STi and WRX, the more I like the flat faced wheels with spokes that reach to the edge of the wheel, with not much step. I think they flow good with the boxier sides of the 2015+ especially when they sit relatively flush to the fenders, so if you have some please post the pics!

I will start with a few examples of what I mean, starting with the factory base 18" wheel which I love, but still find them to not fill the fenders quite enough, so I would like to see wider wheels with flat sides:

Btw if those are pics of your car then props for a nice looking car and wheels

And a pic of mine how it sits as of now

Thanks, at 255 I am guessing this did not require any fender work, right?

Obviously not 15+ but I came across this picture, anyone know what model it is? Supposed to be Enkei but not sure. It reminds me of the RC-T4 a bit, which I love but is a bit harder to find than some other wheels.. I think it would look good on the VA. I think it flows well when the spokes goes all the way up to the lip like that and like the RC-T4.

Its either the JDM STI Enkei or the Rota Gravel which is a copy

Thanks, for some reason from this angle I did not think of the Gravel, but might just be. Either way they are only available in width up to 8.5 I believe. If it is the Enkei I guess there is some spacer since it sits so flush. Thanks for your input!

Thanks to everyone who posted theirs, I came across a second favorite (given the RCT4 are for the most part not available anymore in the size I am looking for).

This is the Enkei PFM1, a new wheel from Enkei Japan, which apparently is a remake of the Enkei Bortex RPM2. Fits what I am looking for with the flat face and spokes going all the way to the rim. Difficult to find pics though, either searching PFM1 and nothing comes up because too new, or searching Bortex and only old cars appearing. Only pic I found which appears to have similar specs to what I am after (18x9 +45) is this Evo, and pretty light too at around 19 lb :

Also this Levorg but in a narrower and higher offset variety, don't like it with the shallow center like this, much better on the Evo even if the whole face is the same except for the lugnuts area which is deeper on the Evo:

If you guys have other suggestions of a relatively light, flat faced 18x9 5x114.3 +45 wheel that is not uber expensive I'm still pondering options

My Te37RT's are pretty flat faced at +40 offset.

Northern, I like the flatness of the wheel but the spokes do not reach the lip which is the look I am mostly after.

My research continues, a couple other types I like, but not as much as the RC-T4:

Speedline Corse 2120 turini

Which is the type of wheels on the NBR special STi (with more extreme offset)

OZ Superturismo LM, available up to 9.5" wide, a bit too many spokes to my liking though

If the Rota Gravel were lighter and available in 9" wide I might look into them..

And also the Rota Hashtag looks a bit like what I am after, and are fairly light (20.7 lbs IIRC) but they are not really flat faced, more like concave flat spokes.. And can't find pics of them on 2015+ Wrx or STi. I prefer a flat spoke and then have the center of the wheel sunken in like the RC-T4.

It seems like what I am looking for is mostly used in tarmac rally racing which is why I had a look at OZ, Speedline and Team Dynamics. I noticed a lot of european cars tends to have this type of flat face, lots of BMW etc but they have different bolt pattern so can't shop in their wheels.

If you guys have any other ideas of motorsport wheels I could shop please let me know, as they tends to be light and strong and also relatively cheap, just like the RC-T4 were. But I noticed the motorsport variety (as in tarmac rally) rarely go as wide as 9". In my case I would like 9" to be a bit closer to the fender while maintaining a reasonable offset (+45), instead of only increasing the offset.

I just changed the thread title since I am more looking for flat face wheels ideas and pics, not only on 2015+.

Something looking like those gray WRC wheels would be awesome, those are VW WRC Polo R wheels:

they are +35 running a 255/35/18 continental extreme contact sport, they are 17 lbs a piece or actually just a hair under at 16.9 according to wedsport

Interesting, I'm looking into buying aftermarket wheels and I haven't given flat faced wheels a solid chance. Time to rethink that.

Your car is the one that got me looking for RC-T4 in the first place... such a shame they discontinued that wheel, it looks so awesome.

Any other ideas of long flat spokes, and light wheels like the RC-T4?

This is so frustrating lol it seems like every time I find a wheel that look like I want, it is either not available in the right offset, width or bolt pattern!!

Just saw neuspeed rse11 wheels, that's the look I'm after! But of course wrong bolt pattern.

When the bolt pattern is right and width is 9 or 9.5, it seems the offset is never in the 45 range.. which is what I'm looking for. It seems like every wheel in 5x114 18x9.5 is +35 offset. I am afraid of the effect a 20mm offset difference will make in handling, so I'd rather have my wider wheels closer to normal offset.. Oh my.. to me the RCT4 were the perfect wheel in so many aspects!
