Default 06 WRX - Dominator Turbo and bolt on mods - 400 whp

This car came out really nice - mods are on the dyno sheet

Nice Pro Tune - pump gas with 50/50 h20 and alchy - good daily driver

I like this Dominator turbo

That and the Red and Green are the stock location units I like the best

I dont remember - I did a few with dog boxes recently - d0ont think this was one of them

Personally I hate the dog gears - not very streetable IMHO but perhaps a necessary evil to make this kind of power reliably on a 5 speed

It sucked when we were on the dyno with David Buschur's car and the 3 gear exploded -= not a sound I want to hear again

Which Dominator? Boost? Also, what kind of spool are you experiencing on the street?

Yes hes saying he likes the dominator turbo that was used on this car. This dominator, the FP Green, and the FP Red are his favorite stock mounting turbos

What? The dominator 1.0, 2.0, 2.5R, 3.0R.... No this doesn't make sense! There are 4 different dominators.

this is a customer car, he was on the stock trans. A 6 speed swap is in the future if he keeps the car.

2.5r. I believe it was hitting 22psi when i drove the car after he got back from Al. Spool up was pretty good. I think around 4k for full boost, not 100% as the car was tuned a few weeks ago.

ok and i'm sure being a reputable tuner he is aware of this. Hes not trying to explain what particular turbo it is. He is simply stating that in his opinion The Dominator turbo used on this car (whichever it is), the FP Green, and the FP Red are the best stock mounting turbos available! I'm sure when he comes back on later he will answer the question of which dominator turbo it is but thats not what he was trying to do in that particular post!

so again i say yes what he posted makes perfect sense in relation to the message that he was trying to get across

Thanks

I have been very busy with tuining and I have also travled to Ohio for the WRX vs Evo race last weekend

I try and take notes now on the dyno sheets to remind me of deatils and obviously in this case they were not clear enough and I have tuned so many cars in between I do not recall

Thanks to Precision Tuning for filling in the blanks and for doing such a great job on setting this car up - it was a very well sorted car

Going to Precision tuning will always result in a postive expereince and avoid spending money on useless crap that does not work well

AL

Thanks for the referal - this car was very enjoyable to drive.

When you guys do the turbo selection the cars always have the right balance and work well. Kudos to PT.

300+ wtq at 6000rpm is awsome, but is there a reason th pull stops at ~6200rpm? It looks like it could keep making power up top....
