Question How to replace climate control lights?

The bulb(s) behind the climate controls in our 98 Legacy GT have kicked the bed. Anyone ever taken this area apart or have any tips on what I'll be looking at? Normally these things aren't too user friendly.

Thanks,
Paul

A couple of folks have posted detailed instructions on various web-pages, but I believe if you do a search in this forum using "climate control" or "HVAC" you should pick up some info. Not too tough with just a few tips. Not up to re-creating instructions right now, when I know they're available .

Thanks Glenn, "HVAC" was the key search word.

This is the best description I came up with, looks like I'll be off to get the three bulbs tomorrow.

If anyone else has any more advice, feel free to throw it in!

Thanks,
Paul

Paul,
Glad I could help. The post you found mentioned the AZ Scooby site, now Scooby Mods and here's the link to their instructions, including part numbers and pics! I knew it was out there:

Thanks Peaty!

Good luck Paul, the pics should really help.

I was able to replace all of the bulbs without removign the crclips, which are a pain, it just menat i had to do it inthe car at a kind of goofy angle
but it worked, and was a lot simpler........
