Default 6k Hids, Polarg fogs....lotsa pics

i finally have a reason to post in this section....here are pictures of the new lighting setup on my 05 legacy....its a 6k hid kit from xenondepot.com ($400) and a set of polarg fogs ($60) install was extremely easy on both, only complaint was the delivery time on the hid kit since it was on backorder when i purchased it.....enjoy the pics

Thanks for posting pics. The fogs look great - even light dispersion with clean cutoff. Why are some pics bluer than others? It looks like there may be some glare as the cutoff is not crisp. There are no apparent hot spots so the light from the low beam HIDs look pretty well spread. I've seen pics against a wall with the stock halogen bulb in the Legacy projector and the cutoff is more crisp and clean. I've been curious to see how the Subaru halogen projectors would handle aftermarket HIDs. I'm assuming the '06 WRX and Tribeca are using the same as the Legacy. Now to see the '06 STI beam pattern with OEM HIDs against a wall

Here's the pic I saw of the Legacy with stock haloegn bulbs against a wall:

they look different colored because i was using different lense settings....the more purple/white is what it looks like in person...and ive heard that in order to get a crisp cutoff you have to take apart the headlites and cut the metal piece that determines the cutoff

Default Just installed some hella ballasts with D2S phillip bulbs and H7 Adapters

Here is a beam pattern of an 2006 impreza 2.5i this is a cutoff beam pattern.

Pretty impressed with the pattern and no funny hot or cold spots on the road with awesome spread. Better than e46 projector in my opinion.
