Angel eyes? I love them! Looks really good.

Spec-B, plenty of people have lowered the older outbacks, and I imagine the procedure is the same for the new H6 and outback models. Just swap the struts. Unless they have air ride?

fibuz: I wish I would have been able to get all of the B4 stuff from you, but I guess I wasn't paying attention. Is there a specific place besides eBay that you picked up those parts from?

As for a specific vendor, no. I purchased a lot of the stuff from Gr8wheels(nasioc vendor with shop under new name now) because they imported a complete B4 clip. This was a rare occurance(and they said they'd never do it again) Other, harder to find stuff, I located people on various forums from Australia and asked them to take a look. Australia is nice because they have a decent selection of wrecked B4's and they speak english.

So, ebay is probably your safest bet, but if there is something you really want or need, you simply need to have an english speaking japanese contact or australian contact.

FWIW, I hear http://japanparts.com/ (a new NASIOC vendor) can get whatever you want(new), but no doubt it'll be pricey. Might be worth giving them an email or PM since they claim all of their people speak english.

Good luck to those in search of rare parts, it takes a lot of patience and a lot of luck.

Pimpity pimp the ole wagon

I'm changing the light setup, so that the lights are just below the bumper, next to the plate. Also, the RS wheels will be going back on for the winter months (they have studded snow tires, and my steelies are 2" smaller), and will receive a facelift with some white paint. Unless I can find a good, cheap powder coater.

^ thats actually kind of badass. stock looking car yet with a massive cannon of an exhaust. would be sweet if you were packing a turbo under the hood for sleeper status.

hotness... both to Ak's and DLC's.

I've been thinking of getting a daily driver for when my BE goes under the knife for a swap. maybe I'll get another BE. but I'll have to pick, either red or white...

DLC, do you know the comp. rates for the springs? "soft" can mean 5 or 6k to some people. Your car def needs those JDM tails. Lemme shoot out an email to my cousin over there. See if he can find something...

OK. Cat out of the bag, USDM STI '04, AP installed this Friday (come on overnight air!!). Whooo its been a long time coming. Finallly the electrical bugs are out of the way!!!!

Thanks for the compliments guys, I like the sleeper look, but I hope to have the daily driver aspect backed up this week. The AP should be able to clear some codes and get the car safe with the Stage 2 upgrades. Dyno tuning soon!

Hiroki: The car was owned by Jason before I purchased it, and he did a lot of stuff to it that I would have done myself, which means that I changed nothing after buying it. He installed the NAs, found the springs too hard for his taste, then after trying a softer set from Tein, found another set from kg/mm that suited his taste. I don't have any specific information on what the rate is, and he's in Taiwan IIRC. It's very comfortable without being soft, but it's definitely got to be better than stock. I'm going to put on some STI top mounts to help out here soon.

I'd appreciate any help with finding some of the cool parts like tails, etc...

UTCiv - I love the way that IC sticks out, barely noticeable. Very sleeper.

I've always like the tinted tails and have wondered what they would look like on a BD, does anyone have a pic. I've thought about doing it my Legacy but would prefer to see pics first - although i think it may have a totally different look on a Flat Black Legacy than anything else around.
