Default Mild bucking after fueling up

So just like the title says Iíve been experiencing mild bucking immediately after fueling up my car. It usually lasts less than 3-5 minutes and only on acceleration. My car has a new fuel filter, new spark plugs and everything else is new or at least in good shape and I have no check engine light. Iíve ran here through it several time over the last few months with no luck. It also happens no matter what gas station I use so itís not the fuel. Any thoughts?

Do you stop refueling when the pump automatically stops? or do you keep going and going until it overflows?

That happened on my 07 wrx. Turns out one of the solenoids in the fuel system was stuck open...

Does this only happen when it is filled to a full tank or anytime new gas is added to the tank?

Sounds like an evap system issue, could be raw fuel being sucked through the purge solenoid up front. I'm not sure it can be caused by topping it off, but still wouldn't do that either way. Some of these cars have an issue with the charcoal canister bits being sucked up front and making the purge solenoid stick. If it can't close completely and you are forcing extra fuel in, it's possible raw fuel is making it to the engine through that solenoid. Even if the solenoid isn't clogged, it does open on its own for evap functions.

When I refuel from empty my car almost always fills up with about 12.2 gallons. This past time I stopped it just a little bit early at 12 gallons even and I didnít notice any issues. Should I get this issue looked at and possibly fixed or can I get by with simply not topping it off anymore?
