SO many thoughts. Had Hyde and Chubb handcuffed.

My thoughts are:
Chubb plays, and knows the playbook. I'll start him.
Hyde maybe gets 5-10 touches, with basic plays, if even that. He doesn't know playbook.
I figured Yeldon is "healthier," and gets the start.
Figuring Chubb will be used more, so him over Hyde
Or J Gordon over them both?

Raiders have Jalen Richards, and doubt Martin gets that many touches.

Dalvin Cook is out again this week. Looks like I'll be playing Murray again and hope he has another good game.

There's a guy who's been trying to trade me for Cook for awhile now. His latest offer is Bell and Carson for Cook. I know that Cook will be back eventually but will he be productive? There's still no real word on what Bell is doing since it wa speculated he would be back during the bye but sofar there's no sign of him.

Drop Dalvin Cook for Chubb? Pretty annoyed at his health this year.

Ha he pulled the trade. He also had one for the same two players for David Johnson which he has pulled.

Chubb is a no brainer play now.

In the first week I would assume Yeldon is 'the guy' in Jax but he is very banged up. I would probably sit Hyde this week because I don't expect him to get more than a few carries.

I wouldn't have Gordon over Chubb or Yeldon. Gordon is finally getting the sanps to have value but he hasn't had the production yet to have much value. That seems to be increasing each week but IMO he isn't quite there yet. This, however, could be the week where we start seeing more production. He seems to be getting better each week.

***EDIT -- Hyde not expected to play this week.. so that's easy enough

I actually disagree with you about Martin. Martin is going to immediately jump to getting around 50% of the snaps. Richard is a pass catching speed guy. He's a Chris Thompson or Theo Reddick guy. He's not a between the tackles guy. Richard will see an increase in snaps and touches but I don't think he suddenly locks in as a #1 back. I think he continues in his same general role with a handful more snaps added on and Doug Martin simply comes in playing the Lynch role. I think it's going to be close to 50-50 Richard and Martin.

I'd take that trade only because Bell HAS to come back by week 10 the latest. That gives him the 6 games he needs to qualify this as a 'good year' contractually. He may choose to report two weeks earlier as the team holds the option to suspend him for up to two weeks.

Regardless, if he wants this to count as actual year contractually he has to be there for 6 weeks. If he doesn't do that, he's still on the Steelers books as if this year never happened.

Example, if he needs a year to become an unrestricted FA and he's restricted this year, he needs a good year to become unrestricted in the offseason. If he does not have a good year, next season he comes back still being restricted and required to complete a good year.

At least that's my understanding of the whole hold-out process

Also, I'm desperaty thin at RB & forced to start Yeldon and Eckler at RB. The Hyde trade just ****ed me......again

I immediately picked up Chubb in my 2 $$ leagues hopefully it pans out and DJs role increases with an OC change. Today could be a good day and I didn't have to use my AK.

I needed 38 pts from Hunt and Mixon to win. Hunt got me 32 pts himself, and I still lost by 1 pt.

Would you play ODB or Sanu?

I'll win either way, but I'm leaning Sanu, as ODB has been garbage this year.

Beckham?

Can't imagine any scenario where you bench him. However I need him to play like trash tonight to win in one league.

What's Ridley's status? If Ridley is planning on playing it'll probably hurt Sanu's targets.

Yeah, he's trash. Take away the Carolina game (23 points) and he's my worst receiver. Eli sucks balls.

I think I heard Ridley was good to go, along w/ Sanu.

Yeah but Atlanta's defense is also trash.

Edit: That ****ing CAR game. If him and Barkley don't go off that game I'm undefeated in one league.

I'll roll w/ OB though.

Either way, I'll win, I'm up by 31.xx points and Tevin Coleman would have to have the game of the century for me to lose.

I had Mack, Hunt and Trey Burton in the lineup in one league this week. I went up against the 2nd highest scoring team in the league this week....

...And I'm up by 30 with Julio Jones left... Monster week and terrible schedule luck for my opponent.

In my other league I'm 3-3 and middle of the road in points. I went against our #1 team in the league whom puts up monster points nearly every game (Brees, Hill, Woods, Gurley at his big 4). I have AB and Ben on a bye and have massive issues at RB. I streamed Trubisky to pair him with Burton (it worked) and I streamed Denver's Def. Picked up a much needed win against the #1 team (who had a solid but not huge week).

The most disturbing loss/win I've ever had.

He had Matty Ice, and Coleman. I was losing 144.15 to 144.16.
Last play of the game, Ice Man knelt.
-1 yards.

144.15 to 144.06..... ****ing absurd those last moments
