That looks like crap I would do. And people pay good money for this kind of build quality?

So those of you who find $8k too expensive for FSD, would you pay $4k for enhanced AP features that does everything FSD does except for stop sign & stop light recognition, and NO additional feature upgrades? |

Any credit cards out there do bonus points or multiplier miles on paying for electric charging stations (Tesla supercharger or 3rd party stations) much like how many cards will award bonus points on gas purchases at the pump?

Citi bank rewards. 2% cash back on every purchase. No cap amount either and I think it has a $0 annual fee and maybe some introductory 0% APR. 1% for the purchase, 1% when you pay it off. I pay it off weekly so 2% end of every week. I don’t think there is currently one for EV specific charging. |

If you can charge at home you will almost never use L2 chargers (Tesla or otherwise). They are really just for looooong trips.

Additionally, businesses are finding out that an L2 station is super cheap marketing. Walgreens (CVS? I forget) has been installing free L2 chargers around us.

3 years to the $25k Tesla.
Today was about the massive improvements in manufacturing that are being implemented so that Tesla can build enough battery capacity to supply the growth in EVs. Someone should find a list because there was a lot. To me, the most interesting car-specific advancement was the way they are building the 2 giant castings to hold the new batteries as a structural layer near the center of the floor. This will make the cars extremely rigid, protect the batteries from side impacts and create fantastic handling. having all your weight low and tight in the middle means you can turn quickly. |

it seems the market didn't like the presentation. I thought it was amazing but people always want instant gratification. It seems that most of the cell advancements are a done deal but the dry electrode seems to need some refinement.

The cost/kwh is being pushed lower at a faster rate than expected. Also, skipping cell-to-pack and going directly to cell-to-structure is a leap frog move no one saw coming. |
