Default STI Availability

Yark Subaru in Toledo, Oh is taking orders/deposits for the 2003 STI. Sorry, not much info now, waiting to hear back from Tim Eltschlager, the Subie sales manager more details. He did say they are 8-10 months out and they are accepting $500 refundable deposits. I'll call him Wednesday and see if I can get pricing or anything....Keep you informed.

WTLY. For some ungodly reason the salesman I work with are taking deposits on the STi which hasn't even been publically anounced yet but know nothing of the sonic yellow even though I have the touch up paint and photos of them at Irvine.

So should I trot on down to my local dealer or what? I asked one of the sales guys at the dealer about a week ago and he just gave me the standard smirk and asked the sales manager, who of course, knew nothing about ANY of the 2003 lineup.

Any tips?

BTW hondaslayer, W T F is WTLY?

WTLY = Welcome To Last Year

As for giving them $500 on something that potentially might never hit our shores...umm ... seems like not the best way to spend $500. Even if it is refundable, what is better... you having $500 to either spend or invest ... or them having your $500 to spend or invest?

Wait for the official announcement unless you don't really care about not having that $500 for an indeterminate length of time.
