Thumbs down 2 custom wheels... 2 stock wheels. Why?

Why in the world would somebody buy a set of 2 larger wheels for their vehicle, then leave the other 2 stock?

While searching for beater convertibles I came across this "gem"

I remember somebody doing this to a truck at my old job. I guess its one of those things where you can't afford all four, so you buy two. Doesn't that like wreak havoc with the suspension?

Either too poor to get all 4 and couldn't wait to put them on, or they're too cool for all 4

i've seen this phenomenon on a couple cars before..

i think some of it is dorifto-related.. you burn through back tires so fast that it barely matters what the rubber is or what it's mounted on..

He could have at least put them on the same side since you only see two at a time...

To make it look like he just got back from the strip and hasn't gotten around to putting his aftermarket wheels back on for looks. It's still for looks, just cheaper this way.

Or he bent one of the rears and had to put on some stockers to drive around on while it's getting repaired.

This is a classic honda move... maybe he only wanted to buy 2 snow tires and didn't want to take those awesome rims off the front

Also, it looks as if he got a little carried away with the heated seats.

Saw a POS Stratus with two 16s in the rear and two 18s in the front yesterday. Looked like ass.
