Your fiance will know. Trust me.

But, if you need guidance, visit www.theknot.com for a handy-dandy guide. Have fun!!

Go to a variety of places and register for a variety of things. Some people will want to shop somewhere nice and get you something expensive while others will defer to something less extravagent. You need to provide options for both groups, and those in between.

REI has a registry. Our friends got a kayak for their wedding.

In short - don't automatically register for china if that's not what you want. (We registered for, and received fine china that we never, ever use). We also, however, registered for really cool everyday plates/bowls that we actually use everyday.

She will know.

If she doesn't, steer towards housewares, and use the online registry guides from Crate & Barrel, Pottery Bard, Williams Sonoma, etc to guide you.

Oh, and get some head NOW.

Yeah, it's best that you understand that NOTHING that happens during the course of this event is about you. It's her day, her stuff, her presents. Shut the hell up and show up. Preferably sober enough not to throw up or pass out before the vows are exchanged.
Oh, one more thing. As the preparations proceed, she's going to turn into the evil quizmaster. "Should we go with the taupe or the mauve, I think the mauve will clash with the centerpieces. What do you think?" You need to remember this phrase: "Gee, I don't know Hon, what do you think?" then just agree with whatever she says. It's good practice for the rest of your married life.

Thanks for wise advice!

Thanks for all the tips everyone, I guess I know that this is now something that I will just be moral support for! That is FINE with me, haha - I have everything I want - except for the occasional mod part or that winning lotto ticket!

I'm pretty sure that if your attendence wasn't legally required, they wouldn't bother trying to jam your monkey ass into a Tux in a foolhardy attempt to make you look presentable.
Seriously, let her have her day her way. All you really have to do is show up, smile and get roaring drunk at the reception. You're not driving anyway, what the hell, have fun.
