Default JNA Performance 08 STI's Get Tuned By EFI Logics

Took our 08 STI down to EFI Logics for some MUCH needed tuning. Chris at EFI is a real nice down to earth guy and has alot of respect for his clients. Thanks for the great tune and advice for the future!

At the end of the day we managed 296awhp and 331Tq at 19psi on a mustang dyno.

Mods:
Invidia Downpipe with DWG (cattless)
Magnaflow catback
AEM Cold Air Intake
COBB Accessport

Dyno Sheet

A/F and PSI

On the dyno

Thanks again EFI Logics!

Nice car.

JNA what did you do to your rear bumper red lenses ? They look like dark clear now I think.

I have a black 08 sti and im thinking of tinting my rear tail lights also they look nice.

How loud is the magnaflow catback that was my choice if the catback is quiet.

The tails are an overlay (smoke).
The magnaflow is loud at WOT around 5k+. Driving around town though sometimes I forget its even there. It has a nice deep tone.

How much lower does this dyno tend to read compared to a similar setup on XX's? Marc (08 DGM, cobb dp and custom CBE) made like 298whp and 345wtq on the old dyno.. any idea what that would equate to on the new mustang?

From what I have seen so far, it looks like the guys getting the best numbers are using the TXS DP. Alot of people turning to the Invidia and it is alot less expensive than most everything else. Is the DW actually well designed and efficient?

For reference on the way the dyno reads, I had my 30R .63 a/r tuned on the dynapack @ XX by Chris in spring and it made 352whp/354wtq @20psi. On the dyno day he had for CTSubie last month, I put down 326whp/320wtq SAE corrected. Uncorrected numbers were 344whp/338wtq.

So it definitely reads lower, but I guess its's more realistic. Time to take it to the track!

Congrats on the great results JNA!!

Yeah, gotta get that car to the track. With that power you should trap 114 no problem. A good driver may be able to put it in the high 11 second range

my stage 2 threw down 290 / 330 on a mustang at Surgeline, need to get a cat back to grab a few more WHP! if your car is like mine, it is really fun to drive, and seems to pull pretty well.

Cool, I cant wait to hear.

Has anyone logged the injector duty cycle for these protuned stage 2 stis? According to the datalogging on my AP I reach between 96-99% IDC with the OTS stage 1 map... What is left for these injectors power wise? I would have though you would need to upgrade the injectors before the FP on these.
