Haha tell me about it, I just got a my '21 CWP limited and traded my 15 ISM base w/ 110k miles. The offer was too good, both from my trade in, the CWP price AND the things I got on top of the price of the CWP

I am picking up my 2021 STI Limited on Monday. I am trading in my 2019 STI Base for it. My 2019 STI has 27,000 miles & got offered $31,000 trade in.

I'd have any one of those, in any color.

Blaze Yellow-2002, like a butter color. Sonic Yellow-2003, like a school bus color.

Actually, no I won't

My previous F80 M3 blows the doors off my STI in every performance metric, and I don't even think about that car anymore. The current EJ STI is the last of its kind, across all brands.

In the pursuit of efficiency and refinement, modern cars have lost feeling, and while the on paper numbers are objectively much better, they're lame as hell in my opinion. The current gen STI is arguably the "oldest" sports car/sedan you can buy, and that's precisely why I bought it. They just don't make cars like this anymore. And I'm not so confident the next generation will keep this feeling.

Interesting. What made you want to trade for another in the same generation? Was it just a numbers thing or were you looking for a refreshed/Limited model?

Sporty cars started being popular in grey because people got tired of standing out and getting so many tickets, its easier to blend in. That said, it's sad looking at a parking lot with white black silver and grey cars

I stayed at a big hotel in Chicago for a week recently. I felt like Elton John rolling into that parking lot in my BLUE car. Outrageous. Was literally a sea of silver, grey, black and maybe white. Didn't see a single car that could have been more than a year or two old, couldn't tell you what a single car was on the lot.

I assumed they were all rental cars 100%, but the closer I looked the more I realized they weren't. I was scared.

Also noticed that like 9 out or 10 cars on the road there seem to have the dealer license plate frames. wtf is going on there?

My ultimate goal is to get my car wrapped in the same yellow as the S207.

On my commute I actively look around at other cars in search of a different color. Seldom do I see anything that pops anywhere near as my red Impreza. It's really sad.

Silver is disgusting, gray is acceptable, white is nice but red is just too loud. I've owned one red car, I just couldn't help but feel like I was needlessly drawing attention to myself.

Generally I agree, but Lithium Red Pearl leans on the darker side. I've always wanted a red car, but, as you said, it's pretty loud. I didn't mind getting it on my Impreza though since it's not a sports car and didn't look as obnoxious as some reds tend to be.

What's wrong with that?

Had a hair to paint my Baja the Impreza Ocean Blue. REALLY like that color.

Both numbers and wanted one of the last of the EJ/VA models tbh, I know a lot of people say wait for the new model but by the time this '21 is paid off the bugs will be sorted out on the new motor and hell... even probably the second gen will have better styling than the MY23/24 haha

Good question, with them launching a global ~850K recall, I wonder if they'll have time and effort to even try a final edition at this point.

I wouldn't doubt it if they launch a final edition as another S car version as they definitely paid a lot of money to franchise the STI homologation stateside to only launch 209 cars.

Yeah. For the last year, info has just simply dried up. Even the info about the WE wasn't accurate. Took us by surprise.

I’m also looking for an S207 wrap color. I’m color blind and every color just blends together except yellow.

Yellow is tricky. Ferrari pulls it off.
Too often it comes of appearing drab, or worse yet, like a failed urine test.

Yeah, I think this yellow works on the current body with those accents. I would buy this...up to a certain price.
