Default Large Fuel Pumps--DW300 or new AEM?

Has anyone tried the new fuel pump made by AEM. I am looking for something that flows higher than the sub standard Walbro because I will be running 1300cc injectors with 450+whp. I have heard the DW300 is nice however knowing that the AEM just was released (cheaper than DW) did not know if it was a "get what you pay for" product?

Based on how relatively cheap fuel pumps are to begin with, I would go with a proven pump such as the DW300. I just swapped out my 255lph with one as I am going with 1200cc injectors. Good luck.

The DW300 will probably not be able to feed those injectors. It can only flow around 1100cc/inj worth of fuel (depending on boost level). Certainly better than the Walbro's 850cc/inj, but still not enough for 1300cc injectors.

I'm running the DW300+ pump with DW1300 injectors, and it's fine for about 21psi on my 35R setup. It does want to drop off in voltage on the higher end though (known issue with these pumps). Some guys run a relay, some guys opt for a surge tank with another pump.

I was around 419awhp on pump gas and 502awhp on C16. So the pump can do it

Damn it prob won't cut it. I should be pushing 500whp. Yes my block is built. What are my other options? Do I buy another walbro to run both?

I plan on running a surge tank with an additional pump (in the surge tank). I did hear of a retro fitted double pump hanger for two DW300+ pumps. Never saw it, but sounded plausible.

With that kind of power I would want a surge tank

Yeah you can search here. Most are custom. Radium makes a nice easy to conceal tank. I've seen a few in person, nice setups.
