You can drop the ISO with those shutter speeds. No need for ISO800 if youre shooting at 1/4000. Thats a ISO100-ISO200 exposure, easily.

Look into a CPL to cut the reflections, also.

Exposure and composition look good.

Agreed. They look pretty good though, especially with a kit lens.

Looking good! Just set the white and black points and you should be good to go.

FYI- I usually shoot my product stuff at f/10-f/16 to make sure everything is in focus, even on close ups. That is preference though.

aside from the dust in the sensor this shot looks great, i like the slight over saturation! its a bright car, needs to pop! and it does!

The mid day sun is tough to shoot in but I think they are pretty good. I would crop the second photo differently. Maybe crop the exhaust out that's partially missing anyway and kind of have the focus on the Sti badge and then the bad ass road and horizon behind it make it awesome.

LOL. I hope it's easier for you than it was for me. I took it as a challenge though and it definitely made me better. Good luck!

A t1i.

I've been wanting to upgrade for quite some time now, but it's always between camera equipment and car parts. Needless to say, car parts always wins.

What's wrong with that? I have a T2i, and camera gear is winning the battle vs car parts right now.

The noise is extremely loud on a t1i lol.

I bought some decent lenses a while back, but I refuse to buy more until I upgrade my camera lol.

I can't justify a 5D as I really don't shoot that much, but I can't justify a 7D as it really isn't an upgrade. I might just trade up to a t2i one day for the 3 extra MP haha.

They discontinued the T2i, but obviously you can still get one. I believe the 4i is the newest one out in that line. Do you want to stick with the cropped sensor or go full frame?
