? for people who had their tint done at Winners.
I got my tint done last sat at winners.
My tint has alot of milky patches and few air bubbles on the edges on all the windows. I'm kinda worried about the air bubbles. They said its gonna go away but i really doubt some of the air pockets on the edges will go away. HOw did your tint look when it was done and when did the milky patches and air bubbles went away?? did any of you guys end up taking it back??

A friend of mine had tint done on his car, it looked horrible a few days after (big bubbles, etc). But it turned out, like they said, it'll be fine after 5-7 days. I wouldn't worry about it.

they told me 3 days tops for all the bubbles to go away. It took 5 days atleast for the small ones to go away and almost 2 weeks for the big spots(not complaining). Everything turned out exceptionally when. Dont sweat it and it will turn out, if not just take it back and I'm sure they will take care of you.

don't forget to leave it out in the sun and bake. the milkiness is just the solution they use to squeegee the film on, it comes off when you finally clean the windows.

Maybe I'm just too picky, but I still find bubbles, in mine and I've had mine done in April or May. I need to check side by side and see if my 35% is right, cause it looks like 50% to me.

I got mine done in the middle of the summer so it only took about 2 days for everything to evaporate. Plus I left the car in the sun the entire day and it was over 80 degrees. I wouldn't worry, it'll probably take a lot longer now that the it's cooler (with the exception of mon and tues).

I had mine done there and even though they were cheaper than LA Tint I was not all too happy with the bubbles I still have at 4 months plus later. They are on my Wagon's rear window up at the top.
NOW, do not get me wrong, they will fix any problems, I mean I called them up and told them and they asked my to come on by, no problem, which says A LOT about a co. - The only bitch is that I am REALLY FAR AWAY from these guys... so it is not easy, almost impossible to get to during the week and let alone weekends when my time is spent up doing stuff around the house. I say LA Tint because they did 2 out of my last 3 vehicles and out of the three places I have tried I have been pleased most with them. Prices are a little higher but I never had a problem, plus I love the guarentee they have (especially with dogs in the car) PLUS the main thing is location. So, if I did it again I would go LA Tint route... UNLESS I lived closer to Winners, then it would be a harder choice, probably go with Winner's. |
