The better part, is that not only are you now part of the 95% of lazy idiots on this forum, nobody posted the answer so you had to go read it anyways. Have you met uncle Scotty yet? |

Spoonfed would be implying I didn't search at all. So I didn't go back to the beginning of a thread started in '08, oh noes!!!1! Get off your high horse. I've been around here longer than you, but I guess you didn't see that and assumed I have been on here for all of two days. I know Scotty hates V12 tires with a passion, so yeah, I've met him, and I still run them. The way you worded your response resulted in you coming off as an ******* with no need for it, plain and simple. And you continue to prove my theory right. A better way to word it next time would have been "Post #1 has the details". Done. See, was that so hard to do? It's members on here like you that people hate. Grow the hell up. |

I was wondering, after you guys cut the fender, what is everyone using to protect the fender from rust? I'm thinking just premiering and paint. what does everyone suggest for longevity?
this is what I am considering: Last edited by traction issuez; 02-22-2014 at 11:00 PM. |

I am working on my flares too. I used to run 225 on 18x10 but I am looking forward to run 255 or 265 with this flares. |

IS 300 are virtually impossible to find, sadly. I put Carlton's flares on my race wagon. Not a great fit at the rear, as they are designed for the sedan, but they can be made to work. I have sedan front fenders.

'Lil custom flared Bugeye madness...
Here is my 'Lil ej207 Sti conversion with RAC inspired ride height appropriate for "canadian roads"
Front flares are karlton sedan flares. The rear flares are based of the karlton sedan flares, but custom made into 3 pieces to match the front set-up - with removable bumper functionality ...I also reformed and widened the rear flare width to look more aggressive and to match the sedan width front fenders... and bonus...they can fit up to 11" wheels...but I'll be running 18x10's/285 square set. Still needing 1" spacers in the rear and .5" spacers in the front. The wheels in the pics are Prodrive 17x7.5's! with 65mm of spacers...ARP studs. Already have the wider sti control arms front and rear. Sti driveline, built motor, meth injection, rotated twin scroll efr7163, V8 6 spd with Dccd pro. St coilovers. 18x10 Work Kiwami's in matte bronze going on for the summer with perhaps a slight ride height drop |

I don't usually like wagons with only front sedan fenders, but your flares look amazing and the offset from front to rear is not an issue at all since they look so ****ing bad ass. Great looking wagon, favorite bugeye wagon yet.
