Default Bug stains that will NOT come off!

A few weeks ago, I noticed this nasty yellow little "bug turd" on my paint. I immediatly wiped it off, and it left behind a yellow stain. I bought clay bar, and it didn't do a darned thing. The stain was in a pretty isolated area anyways, so I just decided to live with it.

However, I noticed a new one on my hood last night! It couldn't been there more than a day. I tried clay bar again, no dice. I then went and bought bug and tar remover and it didn't do a darn thing either.

Any suggestions?

wash/better claybar/wax...mayyybbbbee rubbing compound, but that gets a little unsafe.

have you tried the pink eraser trick too? usually takes off scuff marks and crap...go find a pencil and rub it down lightly.

I've noted that these type of stains generally disappear over time. Clean up the big lump and leave it alone. You'll probably make the whole thing worse by rubbing and polishing, creating myriad lines, etc.

Brake Cleaner! But make sure you wipe and rinse well and rewax afterwards as it is VERY bad for the paint.
