Wow! That was some carnage! I think we'll get a guide just for safe measures.

The new engine has an automatic water jacket under the intake...it looks like the inlet angle is a little different. Do we need to replace it with the one off the old engine or is there a new upper rad hose we can get to fit?

I really think you should swap to the correct coolant pipe that sits between the block and intake manifold. Any hose you could make fit would have a terrible bend back towards the middle of the radiator.

You might as well make it right while you have things apart.

Swap the water pipe from your original motor.
