Default 07 trans swap question

I've got an 07 wrx wagon with 5mt. First gear is gone so I want to swap it out. I've found a jdm 5mt with a rear end that I think will work, but I'm no subi expert so I was hoping someone could double check me. My trans is the TY754VW7AA, the new one is TY755VB3AA. I consulted the trans chart on here and it looks like the finall drive is lower, but it comes with a rear end, so no problem there..... Also I'm pretty sure the new one would be a pull clutch rather than a push. I'm changing clutch and flywheel anyway so I don't think that will be a problem. Do you guys see any other reason this won't bolt up and work? Any help is appreciated

Older ones have stubs on the trans, requiring female axle cups. You could remove them from the replacement trans, though that means taking the case apart. Just plan on sourcing older female cup axles if it turns out to be this.

If it's a jdm supplier, ask for the clutch fork and slave too. Sometimes they'll throw in the entire clutch/flywheel if you just ask about it.

Fortunately it takes the male axle shafts and has a slave on it. I'll ask about clutch fork. Thanks for the response
