Default Fuel filter symptoms?

My car is giving me a slight jerking'ish popping kind of type deal under very heavy loads when i hit peak boost, and ONLY when I hit peak boost, I can give it 3/4 throttle right unter peak boost and everything is good but as soon as I cross over into that WOT threshold it gives me the issue.. No codes being thrown my CEL is clean.

thats a tough a description to work with but it sounds kind of like spark blow out. check the spark plug gaps and if the gaps are >.03 then replace them. if you have iridium plugs(tiny electrode) be carefulusing a coin style gapping tool as it can damage the elctrodes.

Also inspect your ignition coils. worn out coils can cause a similar phenomena.

I'm havig the same issue I think. I just started checking my vacuum lines but I'll be checking my plugs then for sure. I have a version 8 ej207. It gets more jerky the higher the rpm

I was having similar issues with bucking/popping sounds at WOT, replaced my plugs and all is well.

IIRC you can find the OEM sparkplugs on amazon for quite cheap.

Hope that helps.

Same thing with me, replaced sparkplugs and coil packs, boosts fine under less than 12lbs of boost, anything more and it studders and throws a misfire on cyl 1 code, going to replace the fuel filter and see how it does 👍🏻
