anybody know where i can get a loud PA system for my wrx?

Ive seen a few cheap ones like at radio shack, but i want to make sure its very loud and works off 12 volts. does anyone know of a loud pa system that might suit my needs?? or a company that sells them, or a brand of a good one, anything. thanks for your help.

Go to farm and fleet. They have a ton of novelty horns, pa systems, etc.

The Galls website is good...anything made by Code 3, Galls or Whelen will generally be good. Expensive though...especially after you throw in the cost of a speaker and mounting hardware. I would just suggest not getting tagged using it...cops are generally not understanding about the missuse of that stuff. In MO you need to have a permit for that kind of stuff - or at least to legally use it. Just watch where you use it.

Just pick up any CB radio with a PA output. That's be more than adequate for any consumer needs.

I just got a PA set up very similar to the Galls unit. It came with a heavy duty 100 watt speaker. It is not tremendously loud though. It did come off a police car and the law is clear here in VA as they are BAD ju-ju. I plan on placing it in PA mode and removing the knob along with hiding the unit under the seat. I just want it to be an asshat though, mostly yelling at other Subaru owners at meets and stuff like that. The speaker I have:
