Default 2015 WRX - Do you own a 6MT or CVT?

So those crazy Austrailians are buying up the CVT in droves. I'm curious to know what the numbers are here in North America of CVT vs 6MT sales. There is a lot of robust dialogue elsewhere on this forum as to why only a bat**** crazy momma's boy would even consider a CVT, so let's keep the topic narrow. I'm doing this for the sake of science!

Sorry, no STI option!

Maybe call and ask SOA for some sales numbers would be a better approach than this?

I think the CVT numbers are way higher because its been years since the WRX last had an automatic option ...
and compare to the 4eat ... the 2015 WRX CVT is alot better.

Sort of. Trying to factor it into future resale values for when they put the 2.0 in the STI.

You should drill a hole in your forehead to see what's inside, if anything.

You know, just for the sake of science.

ok ok OK, so maybe my poor attempt at humor in the poll could be perceived as trolling, but in my defense, I tried my best to poke fun at both types of buyers. So now, move along to somebody else's thread. Thanks much!

I thought Subaru said they expected CVT to be 20% of all sales for WRX?

I can get close enough using computer generated stratified multi-staged random sampling. (Providing the stratification method and probability ratios work out right).
