Fixed mine tonight. Dealer put in only 2 screws, they rusted after less than a year. So 4 new stainless screws, and for washers, I picked up some nylon ones from the specialty hardware drawers at Lowe's. Under 5 bucks for everything, and no more rattle, no worries about rubbing, and no worries about rusting.

I was just now standing outside on my porch while a big thunderstorm started rolling in, watching a few cars drive by, and realized "my car loves weather like this, just like I do", even if it isn't snow...

You cannot really say the same about a toyota corolla (which I have also previously owned, along with a rwd celica that was a horror in the snow).

Amen to that. They drive like its 72 degrees and Sunny! I came from a family of Toyotas, but our "teaser" for AWD was my mom's '03 Matrix. Now I've got an Impreza, mom has an Outback, dad has a Forester. It's a Subaru Family!

Got my Rally Armors in today. Going to wait until my Side Skirts arrive to install 'em though. I think it'll be easier to do it all at once. After this "Facelift", my next job is swaybar upgrades.

While I'm deciding between the 19mm and the 22mm, I want to know what other hardware needs to be upgraded. End links? Some of the mounting hardware?

anyone know if a 7" wide, +38 offset rim with a 205 or 225 will have any fitment issues? i doubt it as it would only sit 3/8" further out

you don't need endlinks with a 19mm bar, but with a 22mm you will most likely need upgraded endlinks

also, do i need new lugnuts?

Ok. I didn't know if that might be helpful.

Anyway, I have also looked on the Tire Rack site and let it select wheels that should be compatible. I know there are a variety of off sets. Might be worth doing a cross with wheels listed there to see, but I agree with you that it is probably a non issue.

Will this sway bar upgrade work on my car?

http://www.amazon.com/Whiteline-Rear-Sway-Adjustable-Subaru/dp/B002URL18G#productDetails

I think that's the right whiteline model. Does anyone know any way to install this thing without ramps? Thanks!

you don't need ramps if you can crawl under the car

ramps are like 40.00, and you can use them for oil changes too

Question. I have a 2013 Premium. I absolutely want to add the sport sideskirts. Has anyone done this yet and if so do you have a part number or any information on doing it. I have the grill ordered, bigger wing ordered, and want to do the strakes but I see I need sport sideskirts first. Please tell me I can buy them and mount them up.

While the side skirts are a nice thing, you will probably be paying a lot of money for them as well as shipping also. If money is no object, go for it! I don't see why they won't fit.

I had about 2 gallons of gas left and had just filled up. About 1/2 mile down the road, it looked like I had a 'stuck' "Fuel Economy" gauge. I was on level road and I looked down and my gauge was pinned all the way to the left. I put the clutch in to coast... and it didn't move. It wasn't until I came to a complete stop that it appeared to "unstuck" itself.

Anyone else ever experience that?

Yes, it does this every time you zero the trip odometer. It takes a mile of driving before becoming active again.

So to confirm, will the Whiteline 22mm rear sway bar for the 08+ sti fit our Impreza? Also, will the upgraded endlinks that come with the kit also fit? Thanks!

They are 180 per side and they come painted. Sooo, not a ton of money but I think I paid that just to prep and paint my bugeyes sideskirts so I'll likely go for it in a few weeks. And add the strakes at the same time. I'll post pictures!

857 mile trip with the 2012 sport - love love love this car. Only complaint was the lack of signal for spotify.

The wagon is going on it's first trip next month, so I'm pretty excited for that. PA to NC.

Even with the larger rear sway bar it still gets pushed, but it is a light car
