Default 93 Subaru Legacy Turbo AWD Tranny Probs

Well I need a new tranny.
What exact vechicles are the tranny interchangeable
I was told that the only auto tranny that would work with my car is a turbo awd one because the axles from the turbo awd are different from the awd non turbo
I am talking about USDM
not JDM
btw

Mugen,

I posted over on the legacycentral board.

Trannies are going to be same.....the only real difference is the rear clutch pack may have a few more discs in it.

The axles are the same....everything should bolt right up.....non-turbo vs. turbo.

Legacy777 is right, but dont forget to mention rear diff ratios.

Realize if you couldnt find the right diff you could just remove the driveshaft and drive around in FWD mode until you do.
