question and possible problem with MBC?

Was at the track and noticed I could not get more than 14.5psi's of boost...If at part throttle cruising and then jumping on it, I could hit 16psi's what I set it for, but from a stop at the track it was limited to only 14.5psi's to redline? I am running a Turbo XS MBC. I also have a ABC which I'll see if that solves anything, but I confused?

Mods include:
PSP uppipe
Unichip - Stage 1
Turbo XS MBC

I too have noticed this, I can replicate it on the street by dragging away from a stop. Do you have the TXS HP-MBC or just the standard TXS MBC ? I found by adjusting the ball&spring to within 1psi of my target boost and then adding the last 1psi with the bleed screw (I have an HP-MBC) I would get better boost on the strip. However it will boost-spike more on the street, setup in this way. So for the street I back off the ball&spring and use the bleed screw for 2-2.5psi of my target boost.

One last point to note, if your MBC is fixed on or very near to a heat source it will drop boost as it gets hot. If you notice your boost drops off by 1-2psi after running for a while, pop the hood and with caution test the temp of the MBC by hand. If it feels hot to the toutch them you need to move it to a new location away from heat. This is NOT a fix for a HEAT SOAKED engine, just a heat soaked MBC
