Ya removed my taking lil screws off from back. It was my first time wrapping too. I used 3m that was recommended my local auto wrap place. Used a blow dryer and it went on real easy. Very forgiving stuff

SIA, how long have you had it wrapped? I'm about to do my dash accents, but heard that the vinyl won't hold up well exposed on the grill like that...?

4 months and it looks good as new. I was told by shop that does it every day that you can expect 2-3 years before it needs replaced. I know the guy who owns it so I trust him.

Right on. Think I'll give it a swing since the stuff is rather cheap anyway. How did you do the badge surround? Or is it removable, because it kind of looks like your badge is jutting out...?

Well, just took my car in to get the 20k oil change/service and the service guy told me my rear tires are critically worn on the inside tread, not too sure how this happened seeing as how i have my tires rotated every 5000 miles when i take it in for service and they haven't told me anything prior to today, but regardless, I need new tires, and i guess an alignment. I was thinking of maybe going with a little bit thicker tire than the stocks, have any of you guys went with a little thicker tire? any rubbing issues?

get the alignment done for free! if you only have 20k miles you are covered under warranty for it

Make sure you have proof though, they say it needs to be for a reason, and they're not just going to do it for free because then everyone would bring theirs in and cost them more money. A lot of cars don't have an alignment problem.

Anyway, are the rear brakes supposed to make a loud thud when you pull the emergency brake while you're moving?

Goregasm, 5MT? Sometimes I pull my E Brake during the last moment of coming to a stop in my garage (barely moving) and hear a thud.

My e-brake system doesn't really thud as much as it just kinda makes a slight metal on metal sound while pulling it.. lol

I went to a 235 wide tire on an 8 inch wide rim at +45 offset, on all stock suspension and no rubbing issues. All around I have at least 1 finger width between tire and strut or tire and plastic. Even with a very heavy load in the back, no rubbing even over bumpies.

Oh to be clear, not sure if you meant thicker as in taller sidewall, or wider... My overall height is within 2% of stock height so I can't comment on taller tire clearances.

Kartboy end links came in today, holy cow they are way thicker than I thought they would be! Hopefully they will be going on Thursday.

Also, at almost 15k miles, my seat started to squeak today lol. It doesn't really bother me yet so I have no plans to fix them.

Removed my grille middle trim pieces today to spray them. Easy to get the piece out to access the screws to remove, but those tabs on each one was a real pain to remove without breaking them. So, the screws and some 3M will have to do.

Thanks! I'm helping a friend who is a first time Subaru Owner. He might go with more than just wheel locks...

Sorry I should have clarified. I meant a little taller tire. I'm keeping stock sizerims . Thank you for the response though. I appreciate it. Anybody else have input?
