![]() It amazes me how much further Mazda is ahead of much larger competitors in terms of interior fit and finish, materials, functionality, etc.

It does drive better than the Ascent, feels smaller and is more responsive, and it got 27 mpg on our trip, vs the Ascent which typically gets 19 mpg even mostly highway. A few changes to the CX9 would tip the scales. I'm hopefully for the next gen. |

![]() CX-50 has a touchscreen for CarPlay/AA if you enable it way down in the settings...I forgot to look up where it was when we test drove it.

![]() My 2021 Mx-5 has the touch screen lockout when the vehicle is moving. It's straight up dangerous. Instead of reaching over and quickly touching what you want, you end up spending more time looking at the screen trying to select something. After almost a year I'm at the point where I don't need to look at the screen as much to use the wheel accurately, but the learning curve/muscle memory curve is steep. I'm not surprised they got rid of the lockout in the CX-50.
