The clearance is the same as our older Fab'd pan.
We do keep getting asked about durability, which was one of my own personal concerns with using cast technology. We use a very specific material and process that is only done here in the USA. Needless to say, it's not cheap, but the quality is outstanding.
In regards to toughness, we have MANY installed on rally cars. Some have some great stories of survival. This pic from last year is one of my favorites. This team went off course in a bad way. The belly-pan pictured here was hit so hard that it pushed the pan (engine) hard enough to tear both motor mount. The pan is still in use today! The engine was spared of oil starvation as you would have normally expected with an impact of this magnitude.
