Default 2-step boost builder

Ok...check this unit out:

http://www.suprastore.com/msddirigsys6.html

I remember it from when I had my Supra

I *think* it adjusts the Revlimitor (say to 5k, but you can have whatever you want) so you can floor the car at the tree and it will not rev more than 5krpms and then you pop the clutch and flick the switch so the unit shuts off.

I think it would be an awesome idea if it would work on the WRX's..it would be great to build boost off the line and im sure it would make taking off much easier

What do you guys think?

Greg

I have a few friends with them in Eclipses. Unreal. Its just an ECU mod. It allows you to change the 2 step limiter setting when starting the car by pressing the gas. It raises and lowers to boost gauge the show the user what it is set at. From what he told me you can have 4 different rpm points programmed into it. (He has 4500rpm, 5000rpm, 5500rpm and 6000rpm) Very clever interface. Also alows them to make 10psi while standing still with the clutch to the floor.

I have very little knowledge on how it works, I just know it does. Very nice for drag racers... Theres more to it, but i cant explain what i myself dont totally understand so i wont try I think its basicly an ECU upgrade with a VERY cool option... something like that anyways

I would love for someone to come out with this mod for a WRX, i know id be first in line.

This specific unit is a piggy back...not an ECU upgrade...but it appears to do the same thing.

It looks univeral too...splices into 4 wires so as long as we could find those 4 wires on the wrx, it should work right??

I know its a great mod though for the Supras...

The TurboXS Unichip can and will do that.

I think Nathan (nmyeti) is working with Mark on it. I think Mark feels the same way as Bugeyed.

I can`t wait for the spring
