They have been "sold" to me since I read about them the first time.

Now all that is left is making sure fitment works. I'm almost positive they will drop in the tgv housing, but they might be too short or the top might not fit the fuel rail without a custom top hat or o-rings.

If so thats why if we get a few/bunch of people together we might get some group buy status going, or maybe not.

I'm out of injectors - no room for improvement- and bored! Need bigger!

hum.......subscribed as I'm looking to go e85 with my ver 7 and either an 18g or 20g. Please keep us posted at to what you find Jerod. I was going to go with modded injectors until reading about this bosch injector.

Additionally, what FPR and fuel pump are you going to use?

Good deal. I will start taking names when its a go from Tony.

I'm going to be running a walbro 255lph and stock fpr 43.5psi....

If your only intending on running an 18g you will have quite a bit of injectors left over on e85 with a mild tune and you'll be at around 80-85% IDC with a very very aggressive tune..

The only problem a person is going to run into, a walbro 255 is only truthfully good up to 1150cc injectors on a subi...

Raising the pressure will take it down even more because of rising rate.

So if you intend on going 30r+ you will need an A1000 to feed these some high pressure....

None the less I would say these + Walbro 255 and fuel pressure regulator are good for 450 on E85...

And quite a bit more on pump....

Off the fedex truck and on to the ups truck!

Awesome wish you would have posted sooner... He told me over the phone last week no one had asked yet, thats why I picked up a spare tgv and tossed a rail on to ship it to him...

No one said anything about it and he seemed like no other interest had been brought up...

Oh well he'll have another top feed tgv and stock rail (which they are all the same as far as fitment goes) in about a day or two

I don't see any harm or foul...its not like everyone announces everything they want to test on here ahead of time...

no biggy and move on. I'm thinking of buying some 1000cc's for my own car right now. I dont think fitting them will be hard to do.

No hurt feelings the whole point was for fitment. One way or another they are going to get test fitted.

Just wish he would have mentioned something about it... So I wouldn't have had Justin shoot me a tgv for it..

Either way I'm still getting a set from him (obviously) - Fitment will be the same as long as you sent him top feed tgv's and top feed rails..

Stock rails will fit the same and so will my Perrin top feed rails

The whole point of the thread/idea was for better injectors that are substantially upgradable (via fuel pressure)

I just want to lean burn the piss out of my car on E85 and with the modded stockers its not happening.

Well just to clarify one more thing:
The Walbro 255hp is not good for 70+ psi. The flow rate falls off dramatically at high pressures with this pump. The Bosch pumps however flow very well at high psi. For anyone thinking of doing 100psi on these injectors, regardless of flow rate, use at least the Bosch 040. Use the 044 if you are doing >400 whp.

I am not an expert on fueling, but I know this much having talked to some of the fuel system experts.

Yea 255's fall off horribly.

I have no reason to run higher than 3bar of pressure. (for now) and less than 25psi relative pressure. Which means 69-70psi peak for the 255 pump I have now.....

I intend on running the 255 for my lift pump and an Aero A1000 inline for true flow PSI when I have a built motor and larrger turbo..

These injectors at 3bar will be pushing a 255 to its limits (if injectors are at 100% idc and 27psi relative boost is ran)

And I refered to the 1150cc on a Subi - I technically mean a walbro 255 is good for 1150cc*4 injectors at 43.5psi... I did not factor in the fact of rising rate - I had the conversion somewhere but I believe with the walbro's piss poor fall off up high they are good for 10xxcc*4...
I have a graph somewhere of some good test results of the 255 high pressure flow...

So will these be a direct bolt-on? Or will modification be needed?

Have to upgrade my injectors so might as well buy these

Hey guys,

Sorry for the confusion on getting parts to me. Mike and I talked about it a while back and I still hadn't seen anything so I didn't know when they were coming. Just turned out they'll both be here at similar times. At least we'll get to test fit in both just to verify there's nothing weird going on. I'm not up to par on the subaru ins and outs and what tgv's are on the market.

Anyways, the stuff that Mike sent me worked out perfect. After further research, I have even better news that when I talked to Mike a bit ago. I have some square oring lower cusions that fit the tgv's perfectly and also fit the injector perfectly. They are pretty short though and will require me to use our 11mm adaptor on top of the injector, spacers for the fuel rail, and machine a couple small tabs off the plastic body since it sits so far down in the hole. But, I was able to source a bushing the same as what I had on the bottom in all dimensions but is about .100" taller, which will make the injector fit in the hole w/o needing the tabs machined off, make it the right height for the rail with no spacers, and allow fitment without the red top adaptors. The injectors will be machined on the top to fit the 11mm top oring like our S2000 application.

In short, these will be a drop in application once i'm done and they will not cost any more than our standard $115/ea price. I should have the lower cushions I need in a few days.

If anyone has any questions feel free to shoot me an email at [email protected]

Thanks
Tony
