Yes drop in other than a simple cut and glue of the plugs since they use a different style of plug.

They are saturated (high impedance) that of all stock (or all obd2) Subaru injectors...

not all subarus are high impedence.. i know 02-03 wrxes have resistor boxes.. stis are high and thats as much as I know.. but they will be a complete bolt in situation.. and the connectors will be included as well which is a plus...

Strange...

No Subaru is low impedance...NO OBD2 Subaru is... OBD1 - MAYBE.. Not obd2...

Unless my 02 and my friends 02 and 03 all are 1 offs...

Ok guys, we're good to go. I've got a perfect fit with the stock rail and aftermarket rail (both the same but checked just to be sure).

I've seen some guys use injectors that don't fit down into the hole in the manifold, resulting in the injector nozzle being very shrouded and fuel most likely hitting the port wall before it gets a chance to atomize well. These sit in very deep and they have a 5 deg included angle so there's no possibility of fuel hitting the TGV on the way out.

I milled out a section of the TGV for viewing and testing, you can see how well it all fits.

The ID 1000's and ID 725's will both fit the same, externally they're the same dimensions.

For some reason the pics from my site won't link here.

Orders will ship Monday.

Subscribed.

Tony, will these be plug and play as well? Or will clips need to be soldered?

Clips will need to be wired in as standard, clips are included.

I have wireless adaptors that will convert these to 'EV1' style connectors (most common injector style) for a small upgrade price.

I also have sources for mating connectors for many different injectors, so I can also offer plug and play harnesses for those of you with stock injector connectors. On that note, do all WRXs come with the same injector connector or did that change over the years and models? Anybody have a good pic of the injector or connector so I can confirm that I have the mating connectors available?

Little update..

Injectors arrived today as descibed - install was a breeze with NO issues at all!

I chose to use the clips Tony sent and wire it up rather than wait on Tony's plug and play ($40 (which is a stellar price) but I give impatient a new name)

Anyway Car started on first fire - injectors are a BIT loud, not much louder than stockers but you hear them...

Car idled at 16.5-1 afr without a single hesitation. RPMS went from fluctuating 0-100 to 0-20. IPW was VERY VERY stationary even at that lean of a mixture (under 1ms)

As a comparison for me to idle my car with these injectors vs modded stockers IPW DIRECT was at .95ms vs 1.3ms... At the same 14.7 afr. Stockers would not consistently idle leaner than 15.2-1 - these at 16.5 were solid... (even lower IPW)

I'm going out now to get them dialed in and see how OL reacts...

So far I'm more than happy I will update this post later this evening with some cl/ol results once I do a bit of tuning...

BTW, first fire was a cold start at 40*F on full E85 and fired on the first crank (usual but I don't even know if the scaling is right - so even out of scale it started )

-Jerod

Went for a short drive - Idle is FN rock solid! (so happy now ) OL is close to the same - BUT form pull to pull afrs stay almost Identical through the pull (no varience from pull to pull) I still have some work to do on getting the fueling exactly where I want it. But With 22psi (vs 23.5) and the same timing and nearly the same afrs I made the same torque but 35whp more at redline vs before (Honest to god nothing changed other than took 1.5psi of boost away)

WG hose blew off and pegged 24.59psi during a pull (not cool) but it stayed together!!!
Last note I was over boosting prior to this in the mid upper rpms- I had to remove almost 20% wgdc to drop 1.5 psi (before it was about 5% wgdc) So its making more boost with less wgdc than before (dunno why?)

Will have final results tom. night!

oh my god. DO WANT. Any chance of setting up a straight plug 'n play kit? Maybe team up with Grimmspeed and take over the market for injector/ tgv upgrades?

So for these to work on an 04 sti, I would need wrx tvg's and wrx top feed fuel rails? Is that it?

Dood Jerod nice work on getting this happening... this is great news, I too am maxed out at 12.3:1 (E85) and need something larger for the motor I'm putting together. These sound like the way to go and they don't cost $550+ (and are also high impedance)

Nice!

I'm in when I have the cash for it...

Hey guys, here's some really good reading, check it out.

http://www.injectordynamics.com/dyna...erization.html

As far as injector clips, I have sourced the mating connector for the Denso clips, so we will be offering plug and play adaptors for these in the next week or so.

^^^ Good reading Tony!!!!

And yes my eyes are glossy!

I'm going to start getting into smoothing things out and see what kind of power I can make with these vs the stockers...

Anyone know off hand (anyone that has an fpr gauge) what the stock fuel pressure regulator TRULY sets fuel pressure at with a walbro 255? Is it REALLY 43.5psi with the vacuum line disconnected? I need to go check it but I'm waiting on my tester to come in..

Another update - it got real cold last night - startup fuel enrichment was set back to near factory settings (E85 and TGV deletes)

Car started on the first crank and had absolutely NO idle hunt. It never ever ever even considered doing this before even with fuel mixtures as rich as 11-1 at startup.

I have successfully leaned it out to almost 16-1 in closed loop with very smooth consistent results.

Going to start leaning out high loads as I feel more comfortable doing that now...

Now THAT'S what I like to hear.

How much static rail pressure are you running?

I want these. I sent you an email Tony. E85 is getting really popular here and my modded 950's are maxed. I think these with an increase in fuel pressure will be perfect to support my new cams.
