I just changed my bushings today. I got my broken bolt problem fixed and everything is in working order. There wasn't a big difference from stock to Kartboy. The gears were a bit more fluid, and easier to go into gear. It felt great with just the Cobb adjustable shifter by itself, but the bushings do help increase in feeling with the shifts. It was quite easy and would have taken me 30- hr to complete if I didn't break a bolt head. Both are great upgrades, you will enjoy!

Things will pick up for the summer with cruises and such. I personally haven't went to that many either. I bet the DGM sedan is my friend's.

How long did it take you to install the mudflaps?

Do you also have a 19mm RSB installed?

I got yellow halogens for the fogs, they shouldnt be hard to find. Just get overlays.

LEDs wont flicker as DRLs, but your high beams will have the strength of a household flashlight.

When installing the Cobb (or any brand) of short shift lever, is it necessary to remove the hand brake boot and console box (aka: arm wrest) before removing the trim around the shift lever?

Yes, it is very easy. Remove the hand brake boot (just pull off) then there are 3 screws that hold the console in place, and just tilt it back. The shifter trim is the and kind of snaps that the radio surround has

I just took the shifter cover off. No need to take everything else apart. That was for the Perrin adaptor though, so maybe on the Cobb one. I'd just start with the shift cover route.

But you had to pry it up at least? It sits over the shifter cover. I find it easier to just remove the 3 screws and rotate it out of the way.

I took me ~1hr30min. But if you have the right tools (especially an offset screwdriver) you can do it in less.

Completely agree with this. The inside screw (especially on the rear) is really hard to get to without it. Alternatively jack up your car and take off your wheels.

Yea, had to jack mines up to install the flaps.

Will be installing the short shifter kit from Perrin this weekend hopefully.

Soooooooo, I emailed this company http://www.xtralights.com/ and asked them about LED tail lights for our cars. I bought a set for my wife's truck a few years ago and the quality is really pretty good and they look great!

Anyways, they said 6-9 months out we should have some LED tail light full replacement assemblies!

For urethane youre lookin at 150ish anywhere.

They also have basic and generic flaps that may or may not come with the hardware.

I want rallyarmors, but prices are pretty crazy. I may go flapatax myself.

Hilarious that people want LED tails when all the wrx owners do is slap overlays on em to hide em.

I have RallyArmor flaps, and they are absolutely way overpriced for what they are. Super easy to install though.

Flapatax for the win (about $60):

You can pay more, and will get a bracket mounting system that is nice with the expensive Rally Armor, but the flapatax work just as well.
