ok, so heres the problem. started smelling this, oddly only at night(cooler temps) and very rarely if ever in the day have i smelt it. it smells like its coming from in between the alternator and the intake manifold, right dead center manifold wise. i have a picture of the area. i haven't taken anything off to find a leak but i know its there b/c it smells pretty bad. anyone know what could be leaking?

Im going to say the one under the inlet. I also had this about a year and half ago and only in cold weather, i didnt bother with it and it went away,never came back. But some have it worse than others.

i dunno if thats it. its not as strong there. unless its leaking from the right side under the inlet

That actually is the "common one". There are two hard fuel lines under the intake that are connected by a short rubber section. I would imagine it's spraying out of the rubber section somewhere.

In my case, a few hose clamps took care of the problem.

There is also one that will leak on the other side of the IM behind the AC compressor. I have fixed that one a couple times for some people.
