Maybe.

If I can get decent trade-in, and sell/transfer most of my aftermarket WRX stuff. Mine makes 301whp now, so it's not a clear-cut case. If I had a stock WRX it'd be a no-brainer.

My wagon is my first non-hand me down car. I dont plan to ever trade/sell my car. With all you guys trading your cars just means more used parts for my car . I only have 2 options...swapping STi parts on to my car (2.5L USDM STi turbo swap into my car) or saving up to buy the US STi

Two words: I wish.

I really wouldn't mind being a spectator for this car, though. I don't think I'd be good enough for it

This was probably my first and last new car. I'd love to have the sti, but could barely swing the 24k for the WRX. Maybe when the kid's out of college...

I'm always a party pooper at times like this.

The new STi sounds incredible. I would like a ride in one, would like to drive one, and would take one if given to me.

However... I have a 227HP AWD car (90% paid off) with $5400 in mods (paid off) that I cannot drive to its limit by any means yet.

I'm fine for quite awhile.

You took the words right out of my mouth.

Anyway I'm driving mine until it dies then I'll turn it into an Sti.
More DCCD 6-speeds will be around!

Thumbs up

I have significant mods on my RS, and it is almost paid off but I think that I'll wait to pick up a used STi when (if) thay start to become available, and I don't really want to be a quinea pig for a first year model of anything. That is my reasonable responsible side. The frosted side says YES, NOW please!

I just hope SOA makes as many 2.5 STi's as they do Outbacks, and I'm affraid that is not likely.

nope. no wagon, no trade. even if there were a wagon, i still doubt i would trade b/c the new nose looks silly on the narrow wagon body.

bring on the b4 2.5L twin turbo wagon!

I don't see how I can possibly afford one.

Ah, well. The Buddha said that desire is at the root of all suffering. He, of course was an ex-prince, so he "had it all" and THEN got all poor and earthy on purpose. Plus, I don't think they had the 6-speed back then.
