Does anybody know of any place in Fairbanks that could Port and Polish a turbocharger?

Underground does port and polish from what I have heard.

how much would a port and polish help? I dont know much about these things.

i can also port and polish turbos. all it includes is making the waste gate port a little bit bigger and taking a polishing wheel and bringing down most of the cast and flashing marks. making it smoother. on an sti it helps with boost creep and tapering at high rpm's. at underground he may do the occasional hand port but for anything else like heads or some other things he sends them to a shop. so if anyone is interested i can at least point you in the right direction or perhaps show you how to do it or what ever.

I hear ADB (Alaska Drag Bike) in Anchorage comes highly recommended for porting and polishing and really any engine internal tinkering. They seem to have a reputation for working on smaller motors without laughing or bitching about it. I had a 1.9l escort I was going to put way too much money into before I got my Prez, and a friend of mine told me to go there. He had alot of work done on his Fiero too.
