WI Bugeye build thread/my first 'motor build'
For some background, visit the full build log here:
http://fastwagon.blogspot.com/p/wrx-build.html And now for some recent updates: I've been busy getting all the new accessories put on the motor. I'm running into a couple hiccups due to the fact that I working with an EJ257 gasket kit but using my EJ205 heads. It's necessitated a few runs to the dealer and a few online orders when I get too frustrated with the dealer's policies/employees. Seriously, I don't have my VIN with me, just make the part non-returnable and let me waste my own money if I've picked the wrong part number. Sheesh. In the midst of a possible eviction from my shop, I am making some good progress again on the WRX. Barring any roadblocks, I hope to have it running on June 1!!! Here are some pretty pictures of what's been going on.
