Default 05 STI Track Car

Most of you will recognize this car.
This car has been nicely modified by it's previous owners so i sort of hesitate to call this a build thread as it is already very well built.
I bought it from Bryant on the first of February and just trying to make it more reliable/lighter before the first race.
I have since added my harness and race seat on a custom base so i can reach the pedals , an SPT Short Ram Intake to go with the Stage 2 Tune, Enkei Rpf-1 wheels with race slicks, a rear view mirror, gutted headlights, and acrylic sheet rear windows.

Plans are to leave the motor as is power-wise unless something happens (ie: it blows up) besides a possibly getting a baseline/tune to make sure it's running safely and efficiently. I don't need any power at the moment, I just need to learn to drive it.
I have an oil cooler waiting to be installed and will be getting a Koyo radiator in the near future.

I am going to focus on aero and weight savings (nothing serious like wire tucking/carbon parts) for now and try and save up for a wing.

Stuff waiting to be installed:
Gauges - Boost, Oil Pressure, Water Temp

On to the pics!
Night I got it, Took off Bryant's Wheels/tires, Took out seats/harnesses, and rear diffuser. Sitting on Brendon's rain setup.

IIRC Race Wars failed the first time. I do not think it would work well this time either.

Sure it would, it's called "lap battle" and that is all. We all know rmr is ghey and nobody would do that.

So why do a race wars for just lap battle? It is already timed and we already know who the winner is at the end.

It's good to see that this car will finally be put to good use on the track. Even without big power numbers, it will be plenty quick and reliable.
