Neither of these cars are "mild" or "simple" IMO, they just seem so because they're so cohesive. The tight focus on a particular aesthetic is much appreciated by old fogies like me that are tired of people just cramming as much camber and as little ride height as possible on a car that's littered with unnecessary aero bits and all the parts from a vendor's online catalog.

Goes to show "more" is not necessarily "better". Nice work!
I mostly blame instagram and the rise of social media stardom

I miss the good old days when noobs like myself were mocked for wanting a BOV and then led down the correct path

I am a sucker for a car with a good name, so I couldn't resist picking up this Gravel Express!

Haven't had a chance to get a good photo shoot in, so I guess this will serve as a sneak peek.

Back from the dead. It's taken me almost a year, but I finally finished (re)building the engine. It's now a 2.1L.

Winter finally hit hard here in wisco! I’ve been driving my work truck and my Forster a lot though. I love the forester so much haha.

Also after years of regret from selling the type euro wing off my wrx I finally have one again! I originally sold it because I wanted to keep my roof rails because you can’t open the hatch all the way with this style wing. Well now the rails are gone as it’s not a DD anymore so euro time it is! Here’s a before pic with the wing and rails on and here’s the new wing before it gets cleaned up.
