07 WRX 18g'd Tuned by 555 Motorsports
So I got my 2007 WRX (non-sti) protuned by Matt (555 Motorsports) at Komet Motorsports on 2-6-09. My WRX is my DD and is tracked a few times a year for fun. Everything on the car was self wrenched. The tune was on 93 Octane and on a Mustang Dyno.
Power Mods- -Deadbolt Zilla 18g -Invidia Bellmouth Downpipe -Maddad Whisper CBE -CSS TMIC -Perrin Light Weight Crank pulley -Grimmspeed Up Pipe and Crossover -Ported Polished and Ceramic Coated Intake manifold, TB, TGV deletes, and header elbows by Mycues1982 (NASIOC member)- Mike does some great work! -Samco Turbo Inlet -AEM CAI -Walbro FP -Modded light blue injectors -IXIZ A/O seperator My car is now an animal and drives like it should have from the dealer! Im very happy with my tune and I think my new found power will satisfy my cravings for a while. I would like to thank Matt from 555 Motorsports for his help and insight while creating my build and letd not forget the awsome tune. I would also like to thank Komet Motorsports for affordable use of your Mustang Dyno, you guys have the cleanest shop I've ever been in and it was a pleasure hanging out with you guys. -Ed

Matt@555 is probably one the best tuners I have ever dealt with. He never ceases to amaze me with great tunes. These numbers are great and the best part is it will still run 100k miles and not grenade!! Awesome setup and numbers!!!!

HP curve seems interesting.
Lets remember here dyno's are only a Tool to see results. I think a stock sti puts down around 220-230ish whp/tq on this thing. |

Is that at the wheels? is this typical with an 18g, I was thinking about upgrading from my VF39, but i made 300hp/341tq at 19 psi

Where else would it be, the magic carpet?
No point of doing an 18g if you already have a Sti turbo. The gains are minimum and lag is going to be evident. |

Why does the hp curve flatten out between 4700-5200? Never seen that before.

my 06 sti stock turbo i put down 298whp on a mustang.. i got a turbo back, tgvs, fuel pump and a tune from FAT im looking to get a 18g and 850 injectors and still keeping my TMIC i was told i should see somewhere around 375whp. Sound about right? what would i improve if i went to a FMIC?
