This was back in 2007, about a month after I bought my car. It was a big ass tree, and would have crushed it.

Have you tested it? Might just be the start capacitor which is a $30-40 part. Even if the compressor motor burnt, they aren't too spendy either. Last one I put in a chest freezer was around $150.

Usually on the motor for the compressor. Google whatever model of fridge you have and find the IPB (illustrated parts breakdown)

Opinions requested:

I was thinking of either buying rubber and making larger flaps (black), or to switch to red flaps for winter use. I'm going either way, I need more flexible flaps for winter use in my neighborhood and work.

Is it too gaudy to have WRB car, bronze wheels, with red flaps?

PLEASE do not put red flaps on a WRB Subaru. Waaaay too tacky-looking. Sorry. I'm all for individuality and such, but the contrast is just too jarring to me.

However, if you WANT the contrast so that there's more opportunity for your car to be seen so that an accident may be avoided, then I'm all for it!

I don't think it would look so bad, especially with bronze wheels instead of gold. Chano go find some pictures.

Those pictures do not exist because everyone knows it's badong.

However, there are several WRB Subies with red-letter RA flaps. That's not so bad.

I kid, by the way:

Well since Qwik hates it, then I guess I'll buy them.

BRB, ordering red RA's and plasti-dip!

On a serious note, I don't think they look half bad on the silver Foz. Just not sure about a WRB one.

Lol second STI pic with red flaps has Honda center caps/wheels.

Plasti-dip the Red RA's and we'll call it good.
