Best looking GD exhaust IMO. I find it very hard to find an exhaust that isn't gaudy on a GD. Only other I'd run would be a Prodrive round tip.

I appear to have a leak in the can on my RS-R GT2 TBE exhaust on my 06 WRX. Searching around online to find a replacement and can't find ANYTHING online? What happened and anyone know where I can source RS-R equipment in the states? Their website is not accessible?

Quick question for you guys.
How much would an exhaust manifold+ cat-less up pipe effect the overall volume of the exhaust? I am trying to figure out what I want to do for an exhaust set up that will be a reasonable volume and still be a good performer. For a TBE I was planning on the invidia g200/q300 (still undecided) with a v2 bellmouth down-pipe all cat-less. I also wan't to get rid of the cat in the up-pipe so I was hoping to be able just replace everything with a tomei uel exhaust manifold without raising the volume too much lol. Oh and Minnesota doesn't have any emissions laws so I'm good there. Idk exactly how friendly the police are though so the stealthier the better. |

Apexi ws2 with the muffler itself painted black with the muffler face and tip still polished. It was like that when I received it via trade but I just polished the **** out of it.

I had a catless tbe in my 07, 05, & 02. The loudness isn't bad as long as you have a good muffler. I had stromung exhaust in all of them.

I feel like I would be fine with a cat-less TBE. The deciding factor would be how much louder Tomei's UEL header+up pipe is. By no means am I expecting it to be as quiet as stock but I also don't want a lot of drone or crazy ridiculous noise. |

As for drone, most cat-back manufacturers have designed a sharp-ish bend at the end of the pipe just prior to muffler itself. It's purpose in that location is to interrupt the sound waves that create drone. This was most evidenced for me when I changed my Bozz Speed titanium pipe for a Perrin twin tip pipe. Even though I went from catted to catless, the drone all but disappeared when I installed the Perrin because of the bend at the back. From catted to catless you'll notice more popping and a hollow sound. If you're still running unequal length headers your cold starts will likely sound like a high displacement big block lol. |

Either one I'm sure you'll enjoy, plus if you can find the sweet spot in your throttle when you go catless you can make it pop and rumble and grumble like nobody's business, lots of fun |

Heres a quick shot of mine:
Sound Clip my friend shot: The idea behind it was to tuck the exhaust up as far as possible under the car. I started with the cheapest Ebay catback I could find, and cut it up and made it fit as I wanted. For mufflers, it uses the the resonator that was in the catback, and I added a DynoMax bullet to the end. I am in the process of switching to a EL header now. I will post up a new sound clip when that is done. |
