Remove all screws and clips holding clear lens on, bake at 210 for 10 mins. Then pull apart. Squeeze back on, bake for another 10 mins, then squeeze again, then put all screws and clips back on while its still hot. I have had mine done for a year now with no problems what so ever!

I used what was left over, i just kind put it back into the groove. But 3M makes a sealant i think its like the same stuff that they use to seal the windshields. But make sure the lens is really really clean before you seal it up, otherwise you will have to do it all over again (if your a perfectionist like myself).

I do 220 for 20 minutes to get it nice and soft. I use the permatex black silicone from walmart. I've done 5 or 6 sets of lights this way.

I was going to suggest the permatex, but wasn't sure it would work. But since you have done it, then +1 for using permatex, its the shiz.

I was woundering do you have to paint the chrome on the headlight or do you just paint the main parts that show?

Just paint the piece that is held in with 1 screw.
