![]() So im all done with my swap except i got some problems.
im using my stock ej18 engine harness, and main harness. i made my own ignition harness and have everything all hooked up. however im not getting spark. all the wires are hooked up to where they need to, power for coils, ecu to module, ect. all my cam and crank and all that other stuff is off the ej18. i re pinned my ecu connectors into ej20g ones and pluged them into the ecu. im getting fuel, and all the other stuff, but am stumped. if anyone has ideas, throw them out. thanks kirill

![]() actualy got it figured out. had to run the #3 wire from the ign mod to ECU and provide it with a ground.
for ignition i made my own harness using parts from the EJ20G engine harness, and making my own harness going from engine to ign. mod. and from ign mod to ecu. all in all i had to make about 3 or 4 harnesses that the EJ18 didnt have. and im using ALL stock EJ20G engine sensors/componets. all i did was repin the ej18 wiring harness into ej20g plugs so they would go into the ej20g ecu. i also had to add about 15-20 additinal wires into the clips that the ej18 didnt have. just got the car started tonight and still have a couple more things to do. i got a CEL so i can track it from there what i didnt hook up correctly. overall this sucked BAD. it was about 4 days of wiring prep work and wiring total. my .o2 is that you use the EJ20G harness. kirill |
