Where can I buy exhaust gaskets today?
I need one 3" flange gasket for an aftermarke exhaust, and 2 -2.5" gaskets for the stock catback. Carter doesn't have any
Any ideas? I kind of need to finish this today otherwise I have to wait till next weekend.

Those exhaust gasket sizes are pretty universal, you might even be able to find them at autozone.

I'll check NAPA, but Autozone is pretty far out of my way, they don't have any in seattle.

Nothing at NAPA, never seen anything that size. B&B refuses to help me unless I drive 36 miles to their shop...Anyone have one of these lying around?

They suck. They don't know what I'm talking about unless I have a part number and said I probably need to talk to the aftermarket shop which isn't open on sunday.

NAPA does have the gaskets you need. I bought two of them last week. Ask for a gasket from a 4.3l GMC Envoy. (If I remember correctly)
The gasket has a 3.1" internal diameter with a bolt spacing of 5". They did not have a gasket with a bolt spacing of 4". The gasket with the 5" bolt spacing has extra material and you can drill bolt holes where you need them. |

In a pinch, I cut my own gaskets out of that gasket maker "paper". It worked really well for a temporary fix, I made my own three ply gasket out of the stuff and it worked well for as long as it was on the car, 6 weeks or so.

as far as gaskets smucks does have them...just most of the time you have to find the part number your self in the catalog or get one of the cam managers to find it. if its not a standard part most of the sales persons will refuse to find it or claim they dont have it... but once you do find one some where got a part number? running the paper cut my self right now on my greddy evo
