Turbo 4 cylinder is 3,181 and the turbo 6 is 3,400.

My Supra is an order of magnitude better than my stage 2 STI ever was.

STI limited is 3,527 so 346lbs more than a "comparable" Supra.

Also to show your opinion on design is in the minority:

People who liked my STI = A few flatbill bros.

People who like my Supra = Everyone, soccer moms, old guys, teenagers, AMG guys, vette guys etc.

You don't think 3,400lb is obese for a tiny 2 seater?

You're assuming I like the STI? Take the ribbing and move along.

Not everyone wants a car built like a cheap tin can like a Civic Type R. A Nissan 370Z weighs 3400 lbs and that platform dates back decades so a modern vehicle with luxury features that weighs the same as an old car isn't so bad. The only way to lighten modern cars is through extensive use of aluminum and carbon fibre and that comes at a high premium.

Well it’s been 6 months and car prices are still going up, used cars prices up 30% in December.

Can you provide me a list of 2 seaters with 400hp at the wheels (look at dyno runs) that are under that weight, that you can buy today for the same or less than the Supra? Base vette at $10k more with no options is the closest thing I can find.

You are entitled to your opinion of course but you also would be wrong.

If going the 2 seat sports car route I think I’d try to come up with another $30k and get the Lotus with the Toyota V6 and 6mT. It’s only rapidly deflating fiat money.

It’s one of the only lightweight cars that come to mind except for a Cayman GTS (right around 3K lbs, but also about $100K with options).

Lightweight RWD sports cars that make 300-500hp are few and far between unless you have big money. I don’t really consider the BRZ/86 or Miata in this category and I don’t really want to to try and add power to get them there aftermarket.

I would wait for an Emira. Cheaper than an Evora but man sooo much better.

Yeah, forgot about the Cayman 4.0, that's really sweet, I think probably costs more than the Emira but probably keeps it's value a lot better.

Emira/GTS will only be on the table if my gold mining stocks go parabolic.

Did I hear right, a GRMN Supra with the M3 motor? Wow, that’d be a beast.

Yeppers..

As with Corvette in your comment good luck with that. I read yesterday that their starting production soonnow Bla Bla..and they gave dates, also Z06. Then it said if you order a new Vette non Z06, nothing before 2025. That's a long Waite.

Wow, I never knew they were so obese. Why are they so heavy with absolutely zero interior space ? Also, it is hands down one ugly car. Looks like a fly that got hit by a fly swatter and it some how survived.

Why are they “heavy?” Let’s see. In-line 6 cylinder plus turbos. Auto trans aren’t light either.

Looks are subjective and considering you’re love for Subarus, I’d question your opinion on “looks” for a vehicle.

Feeding the troll here and quoting him ruins it for posters that have him on ignore.
